Getting Here
Vimokkharam Forest Hermitage is located 1.5kms from the village of Kallista. Driving from the Melbourne CBD takes about 55 minutes following the Monash Freeway (M1).
Via Public Transport
Take a train on the Belgrave Line to Belgrave Station and connect with the 663 Bus to Lilydale, stopping at Kallista Community Centre or the 694 bus to Mt Dandenong, stopping at Monbulk Rd. The Hermitage is a 20-minute walk from there.
Alternatively, you can take a train on the Lilydale Line to Lilydale Station, connect with the 663 bus to Belgrave, stopping at Kallista Primary School, and go on foot for 20 minutes.

Alternatively, one can take the train to Belgrave Station and cycle the remaining 5kms via the Bleakley Track and Monbulk Rd.
