Luang Por Chah Subhaddo

Vimokkharam is a Theravāda Buddhist Monastery of the Thai forest tradition situated near the village of Kallista in the Dandenong Ranges of Victoria, Australia.

Established in 1998, the Hermitage is an Associated Monastery in the tradition and teachings of the late Ajahn Chah.  
The Hermitage is a place of practice and residence for monastics with the shared intention of freedom from all mental suffering. It is open to visitors who wish to visit a place where there is the opportunity to develop mindfulness and explore the spiritual teachings of the Buddha, and to contribute to the life of the community.

We warmly welcome you to join us for the annual communal robe offering festival at the temple on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025.

9.00am - arrive
10.00am - rice pindapāta
10.15am - requesting precepts, offering food
10.30am - Dhamma talk

11.00am - meal
12.15pm - robe offering ceremony
12.30pm - blessings
12.45pm - finish
