These are essays I have written on various aspects of the Buddha's teachings that intrigue me. I enjoy taking a particular theme or question and looking at what the Buddha said about it in different situations and contexts, and with regard to different aims. Usually a startlingly coherent picture emerges that I find particularly edifying for my own understanding.
I have a number of half-researched ideas ongoing, so this will be updated from time to time.
